The Town Hall is located in the heart of Shawville. The Town Hall office was opened in the former post office building in 1974.

Services provided at the Town Hall:

  • Information on Residential Services
  • Council Meetings
  • Building Permits
  • Tax information and payments.  We are now offering online banking as a method of payment.  People can either pay at the bank (Royal or National) or by using online banking
  • Burning Permits

Office Hours are as follows:

  • Monday to Friday  9 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Every Friday, from 9:30-11am, the Shawville Shenanigans Playgroup, for children 0-5 and their caregivers, meets at the New Hope Christian Fellowship Church on Main St.

Saturday mornings 8:30-12:30 Pontiac Farmers' Market at the Shawville Fairgrounds.

June 5-7th Mill Dam Park Fishing Derby, free fishing for children, under 12 must be accompanied by an adult

June 5-7th 5th Annual DIFD Ball Tournament at the Shawville Ball Park.
