The Town Hall is located in the heart of Shawville. The Town Hall office was opened in the former post office building in 1974.

Services provided at the Town Hall:

  • Information on Residential Services
  • Council Meetings
  • Building Permits
  • Tax information and payments.  We are now offering online banking as a method of payment.  People can either pay at the bank (Royal or National) or by using online banking
  • Burning Permits

Office Hours are as follows:

  • Monday to Friday  9 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Upcoming Events

Saturday mornings 8:30-12:30 Pontiac Farmers' Market at the Shawville Fairgrounds.

Every Wednesday from 9:30-12:00, throughout the summer is designated The Parents' Voice Park Day at Mill Dam Park. Come out and enjoy the park at a common time with other families.

July 1st -- Canada Day activities beginning at 8am at the Lions Hall with breakfast, 9am the Flea Market in the Arena, 10am registration for the Soap Box derby at the top of Victoria Avenue, which begins at 10:30 with the Cafe 349 and Joanne's Valumart on site, 2pm the parade will go down Main Street, 4-7pm, music in the Ag Hall, 5pm pig roast in the Ag Hall, 9:30 pm Fireworks from the Fairgrounds.
