The Town Hall is located in the heart of Shawville. The Town Hall office was opened in the former post office building in 1974.

Services provided at the Town Hall:

  • Information on Residential Services
  • Council Meetings
  • Building Permits
  • Tax information and payments.  We are now offering online banking as a method of payment.  People can either pay at the bank (Royal or National) or by using online banking
  • Burning Permits

Office Hours are as follows:

  • Monday to Friday  9 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Every Tuesday and Thursday Senior's Drop in Center (former Masonic Lodge), 1-3pm, 244 Main Street

Every Saturday from 8:30-12:30 the Pontiac Farmers Market is open at the Shawville Fairgrounds.

Every Friday, from 9:30-11am, the Shawville Shenanigans Playgroup, for children 0-5 and their caregivers, meets at the New Hope Christian Fellowship Church on Main St.

FREE Public Skating, Saturdays 7-8:20pm and Tuesdays 3:30-4:50pm

October 18th -- 10am Puppets Circle Time at the Library

October 23rd -- 4:30-7pm Harvest Supper at St Paul's Anglican Church

October 25th -- 9:00-1:00 Heavy garbage day at Tom Orr Disposal site, 7th Line.
