Shawville offers many different recreational facilites, clubs and organizations.  This includes fitness facilities, soccer fields, ball diamonds, arena, and community buildings.  The Town of Shawville maintains the library, archives, arena, Mill Dam Park, and Veterans Park.

August 2, 2014, from 1-4 p.m. ARAS Pontiac and the Pontiac Historical Society invite you to take a journey into the past at the Pontiac Museum, 210 Lake St., in Shawville. This is an activity for the whole family, with free admission. Experience our local history through stories, songs and live music about the trappers, early settlers and others who came before us. Come in costume, bring your lawnchair, and discover the past with us!
